Modern Film Scoring Course
An intensive (18 weeks), hands-on program designed for aspiring film composers. This course covers MIDI mock-ups, orchestration, immersive audio, audio and sound identity, music for commercials, marketing, music supervision, and music production for all media.
Students will work on real-world assignments, including scoring for trailers and movie scenes, with live recordings and final screenings.
Taught by industry professionals, it offers a deep dive into the art and business of film music.

- High quality audio interface, with a recommended minimum of 2 inputs (Focusrite, Behringer, Apogee, MOTU, etc.)
- MIDI controller (M-Audio, Akai, etc.)
- Professional pair of speakers
- Professional pair of headphones
- 50 GB free hard drive space
- Webcam
- Internet connection with at least 4 Mbps download speed (http://www.speedtest.net to verify or download the Speedtest by Ookla app from your mobile app store)
